(located on Route 7, near the coffee shop and rec center) Tony Stark ( ![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png){kind=small} voicelog) of Earth-616 started S.T.R.A.N.G.E. in June of 2018, aiming to have a tech start up business which also functions as a workshop and repair shop in town. Unfortunately, a few months later Stark disappeared, leaving S.T.R.A.N.G.E. entirely empty save for lone intern, Peter Parker. When James "Logan" Howlett expressed interest in bringing the workshop back in order, Peter jumped at the opportunity and signed him up, leading to the grand re-opening.Similar to Stark's spirit when S.T.R.A.N.G.E. was first created, there are no plans to make any money from the workshop, with the primary objective being to help people if and when they need this type of service. S.T.R.A.N.G.E. (aka Stark Technological Repairs, Accessible Novelties, and General Engineering) offers services ranging from simple repairs to complex upgrades. They accept a wide variety of commissions and will make or build something from scratch as long as it isn't an apparatus that will potentially harm or endanger others. Weapons will be based on a strict case-by-case basis, but lethal weapons are a definite no go. Since there is no plan to make much income, characters are welcome to donate needed supplies and/or leave tips. For more high tech commissions, employees will do what they can to acquire the needed parts, but it's recommended your character can either bring or assist them with locating essential materials. Aside from its various services, S.T.R.A.N.G.E. will also function as an establishment for employees to develop and provide certain innovative products that place a strong emphasis on defending and/or bettering lives in Deerington. Employment is open to anyone who has basic engineering skills or who is interested in learning the trade. Employees will have access to the workshop and both Logan and Peter are more than willing to assist them with whatever commission or project they take up. With that said, your character most likely won't be making much money here. It's more voluntary work than it is paid but, hey, at least you get to have a cool place to hang out, create things, and help the community out as a whole. Plus, you'll always have access to free coffee and delicious treats while being surrounded by kick ass tech and frankly awesome music. The S.T.R.A.N.G.E. building is a two-story facility decorated to Tony Stark's tastes: (where the sleep deprivation and workaholicism happens)  (where serious conversations just don't happen)   (where 99.9% of the crashing out happens)  (how it's going to work) And following Tony Stark's departure, there's a small picture of Tony as Founder of S.T.R.A.N.G.E. up on the wall by the entrance doors, placed there by Peter upon the reopening of the lab. If your character is interested in employment, just drop a comment below with their name and position which is pretty much just a volunteer or intern role. Feel free to leave a comment with updates on projects your character has picked up and they will be added to the "Projects" section accordingly.
